What is ArtWalk? |

ArtWalk is
the East Valley Art Guild's monthly sidewalk arts festival. The evening event each month also
includes merchants that offer wine tasting events, sidewalk cafe settings
among the art displays, spots for people watching, restaurant specials, and
unique shops open for shopping, and the local color and charm of the
theater district of Mesa Riverview Center.. |

When is ArtWalk 2008? |

ArtWalk takes
place on the 4th Friday of each month, with
Art being from 6PM - 9PM. |

Where is ArtWalk? |
|
 |
ArtWalk fills
the charming sidewalks of the Theater District at Mesa RiverView Center
located at Loop 202 and Dobson Road. The Mesa Riverview Center is home to
the nationally famous Bass Pro Shop. |

Is ArtWalk open to any artists, that wishes to participate? |
|
 |
ArtWalk is open to any artist that wishes to participate. Since the event is
organized and promoted by the East Valley Art Guild. juried members of the Guild
are allowed to exhibit free as a member benefit. To
participate , artists must be either be juried members of the East Valley Art Guild,
or non Guild members that register to be juried into the exhibit. You do not
have to be a member of the Guild to participate. The ArtWalk requires
all exhibitors to maintain professional
standards. Guild members are considered "juried" by the membership process,
but non-members are required to submit artwork for juried approval to
exhibit. NOTE: The ArtWalk jury is comprised of Guild artist members
that review artwork
based on specific artistic criteria, but that artistic criteria does not
include a judgmental call on the quality of the artwork is. We welcome all
levels of expertise, including students, emerging, and professional artists. ArtWalk strives to ensure that visitors
have access to the best fine art experience possible. |

When does registration begin for ArtWalk 2008? |

Artist
registration for the monthly ArtWalks are handled through the East Valley
Art Guild and registration is ongoing. |

How many people attend ArtWalk? |
|
 |
The ArtWalk is
a new event, so we do not have a track record to throw at you. With the Mesa
Riverview Center, sponsors, and the Guild behind the event, it will be a
highly successful monthly event. |

What are the ArtWalk display hours? |
|
 |
Artist will set up their exhibits from 5PM to 6PM. Late setup
must be arranged in advance.
The official hours for the ArtWalk event are
from 6PM till 9PM on the 4th Friday of each month. |
