ArtWalk Exhibitor Information

Hours of ArtWalk

The Mesa Riverview 4th Friday ArtWalk runs from 6PM till 9PM. Exhibitor setup is from 5PM to 6PM. It is expected that all exhibitors will be set up before 6PM.

Exhibitor Setup Information

When you arrive at the ArtWalk to setup your display, you must check in at the Guild setup table which will be staffed with a Guild volunteer. If you have registered with the Guild to exhibit at the ArtWalk, you will have been assigned a numbered location somewhere along the ArtWalk. You will be directed to that location, where you may proceed to setup your display

Exhibitor Parking

Parking around the ArtWalk is not permitted by exhibitors The Guild would ask all exhibitors to unload their vehicles and then move their vehicles to parking areas away from the ArtWalk. Parking is very tight around the ArtWalk area, and if the exhibitors take all of the available parking, it has an adverse effect on visitors. Some ArtWalk visitors want to park close to the exhibits. Please help by moving you vehicle after setup.

ARTWALK REGISTRATION

When you register to exhibit at the Mesa Riverview 4th Friday ArtWalk, you will be required to submit some information concerning yourself, and your exhibit requirements. Incomplete registration forms will be returned and you will not be registered. You will need the following information for the form:

1. Booth Size Requirement: Display areas are 8 feet wide s 4 feet deep along the sidewalk. If you need smaller or larger space, we  will try to accommodate your requirements. Larger spaces may result in higher display fees.

2. Electrical Required: The ArtWalk is lighted, but some exhibitors bring their own display lighting to supplement the ArtWalk lighting. If you need an electrical outlet, you must request on on the registration form.

3. Mesa Sales Tax License Number: We are required by the City of Mesa to inform you of this requirement. The City and State occasionally have "checkers" at events such as the 4th Friday.

4) Media: You will need to supply information on what you will be displaying at the ArtWalk. Most of our exhibitors have one or two areas that they specialize in. The Guild, by knowing what you are exhibiting will endeavor to place you away from other exhibitors with similar art or crafts. We cannot guarantee, but will try.

The ArtWalk is all about Fine Art and Fine Crafts, we do not allow resale of items, non original art, or art to be sold that is done by others. Artists that exhibit must create  their own art and sale their own art or craft. We are a family oriented event, and will occasionally ask you to remove or not display art that our ArtWalk families may find offensive or disturbing. We have other venues where that art would be appropriate but not on the ArtWalk. Please review our Rules and Regulations Page

Crafts that are allowed to be exhibited and sold, must be artist created. We allow no resale items, and will look closely at items to verify that they fit into the Fine Craft arena. If you are unsure if you craft fits into this definition, please submit a website or images, prior to submitting you registration and we can make a quick determination for you.
