Membership - Join and Pay Online

During our Annual Summer Membership Drive in June and July, we offer artists the opportunity to join the Guild and receive up to two months free. Our membership dues go from August 1st to August 1st. If you join in June or July, your dues payment will apply to August 2008 - August 2009 dues and you will receive June 08 and/or July 08 FREE. Its a great way to save a few bucks, especially if you are going to exhibit at the ArtWalk. Members exhibit free.

• What does it take to become a member of the Art Guild?

Our members are passionate about the arts. They are involved in the arts community and they share a vision of helping to construct a new awareness of the arts through community education and events.

• Do you have to live in Chandler or Gilbert  to belong to the Art Guild?

No, living in Chandler or Gilbert is not necessary for membership. We current have almost 200 members representing 20 cities in the metro area. We welcome artists, sponsors, and patrons from all over Arizona.

• How much does it costs to belong to The Art Guild?

The Guild has three types of yearly membership fees: Individual Membership: $45.00, Business Membership $125, and Arts Patron Sponsor $300.00. Dues run from August 1st to August 1st. Individual artist memberships are not prorated, and have to renewed each August.

Business Memberships are prorated and run from time of joining one year. Dues are explained on the application that can be downloaded or opened at the middle left of this page, in either a word Doc of a PDF file.

• Can I join The Art Guild at the monthly meeting?

We have a membership table set up at each meeting that is staffed by a guild member for distributing applications and receiving membership dues. The other option is to download an application. The Art Guild, the mailing address is on the application and you may print the membership application and mail it along with your check. Note: There is a $36.00 returned check charge for checks returned for insufficient funds.

• Why should I join The East Valley Art Guild?

• Members can exhibit in our ArtWalk

• Members can display work in the many Alternative Art Spaces around town

• Member names are available for community referrals

• Members receive a link to their own website on the East Valley Art Guild website

• Members will have access to monthly meetings

• Members have access to critiques

• Art Guild members receive  a monthly email newsletter

• Members will be allowed to enter member only juried and non juried exhibitions

• Member can attend lectures, presentations, and professional critiques

• Members can attend social and networking events

Demonstrations by master artists, special presentations and the opportunity for sharing ideas will also enliven our meetings. along with studio tours, special exhibits, and access to exciting workshops featuring local and nationally know instructors.

The Art Guild email newsletter provides local and regional art news and info on shows, classes, exhibits etc.
